Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, JOY of SEWA is a charitable foundation dedicated to helping those in need and to bettering the world through 'sewa' (selfless--service) together. With the dedication of our volunteers, staff members, and partners, we strive to improve the lives of everyone who needs help within the community.
JOS focusses on events, volunteer initiatives, and programs for the betterment of society and on building community through awareness campaigns, projects, volunteerism, relationship development, and more. It was founded on the principles of Sikhi and is open for all. It centers on unity in diversity, one humanity, community service, equality, justice, compassion, honest work, service to all, “sarbat da bhalla“ (betterment for all).
We believe working together to make our community better is the key to a stronger and healthier society and world!

COMM(UNITY)
Programs to support community involvement, government engagement and voting, public projects and events, multicultural and interfaith understanding and advocacy. Working together to build better communities also builds better relationships!
HUMANITARIAN
One of our goals is to ensure that the most vulnerable have their basic needs taken care of. With your generous donations and volunteering efforts, you have the capacity to help us in our endeavours.
Supporting causes and programs that improve the lives of those in need through food drives, helping hands, shelter services and clothing drives, disaster relief, etc. Contact us to learn more.
